Is it healthy painting stripes on your hair white using nail polish and then ironing it straight?

I want highlights before picture day. (2 days from now) I'm afraid i wont get them by then. So, i tried a little experiement. While i was painting my nails I thought. Hmm what if i make a small stripe after i did that. I decided to iron it straight. It came out just like those scene girls. Then i tried rinsing it of. It didnt come off. Is this normal. Please tell me if it is healthy. I want highlights but also dont want to spend 20-35 dollars. Is it healthy painting stripes on your hair white using nail polish and then ironing it straight?
i'd try taking it out, by using nail polish remover.

if you get a natural shine product, the lights in the camera room, will give you all the highlights you need... it also makes your hair look more silky. don't use too much or else your head will look greasy.

i know frizz-ease hair serum, and garnier fructise makes nice shine products... and there are a few others. they have self highlight kits in the store too.... which are alot cheaper than any price put out there for this question...................

you'll be fine. Is it healthy painting stripes on your hair white using nail polish and then ironing it straight?
well putting nail polish in your hair if just ridiculous. seriously.

and straightening your hair after is even worse. NEVER straighten your hair with ANYTHING in it. it will fry your hair for good.

the polish will stay in your as long as it would stay on your nails.
lol thats not healthy at all.

please dont do that.

and just spend the little amount of money to let the professionals do it.

the last thing you wanna look is scene.

(oh and highlights are like 40-60 dollars. not 20-35.)
dont do that.

the last thing you wanna do is look like a scence girl.

why would you want to do that anyway?
