What to do about nails which are damanged from artifical nails, How to get them healthy?

I have been using artifical nails because mine look so bad, really tired of having to buy them and worry about them coming off, please tell me a product that really helpsWhat to do about nails which are damanged from artifical nails, How to get them healthy?
I am unsure if you are just buying the fake nails at a beauty supply store or if you are getting them done at a salon. If you do them yourself, in order to remove them you have to soak them in acetone nailpolish remover that says it will take off fake nails. Then with an oragne stick gently push them off your real nail. If you got them done at a salon you can do the same thing but I would suggest going back to have them removed. Take a few tylenol as it hurts when they break the acrylic off your natural nail. When i had acrylics I kept my nails painted for the first couple of months because they looked really nasty.... just rough and discolored. Then after a month of so I just kept my nails short (the natural nail is now brittle from the use of fake nails) and buffed them once every few weeks. Take a good vitamin and get plenty of calcium and in a few months your natural nails will grow out and should be ok. Once the damaged nail has grown out you can re-grow your nails to a natural length ... if you keep a good coat of clear polish on them it will help them from breaking. Best of luck! What to do about nails which are damanged from artifical nails, How to get them healthy?
Sand them down a little w a block. and buy a nutra nail or something similar. Take your vitamins and eat gelatin. Eventually they will get better.
I personally suggest that you go to your nearest drug store and buy ';gelatin vitamins';. I started taking them and within a month my nails were growing long, strong, and healthy. The gelatin in the vitamins help your nails breath and puts more of the essentials back into them. These vitamins will also make your hair grow fuller, quicker and stronger. Also you can buff the top of your nails but do not file the tips because that will cause breakage. If you need to shorten your nails for any reason clip them do not file.
There is a vitamin for Hair Skin and Nails , that you can find OTC(over the counter). Do not file your nails, cut them with a pair of scissors, and keep them short for a while. I have found that applying 100% Aloe Vera gel on your nails around them and under them at the tips, will promote growth of your nailsand is good for the skin on your hands as well. . keep this up and you should see healthier nails. That is unless you have any kind of fungus infection on your nails , then see a Doctor. Best wishes, for natural good health
I would definately start taking my vitamins. Vitamin E and Biotin are good for nails and hair. You might also try buying a nail buffer with natural sea extracts. It polishes the nails great and last a long time. Tea tree cuticle oil and a nail strengthener/fortifier are also ones to try.
