It all depends on the brand.

Most nail polish are now fortified with vitamins and therefore do no damage to your nails.

PS: Darker colored nair polish may leave the nails with a little orange tinge! This is due to sun or heat exposure.Is nail polish bad for healthy nails?
no, but if you wear dark nail polishes constantly, then it will turn your nails yellow. my advice is to put on a base coat or a clear coat of nail polish before putting on any colors
No, but if you like to wear polish on a regular basis, let your nails go bare without polish every few days so they can ';breathe.';

If you want to keep them looking well groomed you can buff them to give your nails a healthy shine.
Nail polish is not harmful, unless you get some in an open wound near your nails. Also, acrilyics are bad for nails, since when they fall off, the might tear the nail.
It's cool to paint your nails. You don't have to worry about it. Just don't bite the nail, or the cuticles and don't drink alcohol excessively because it turns them yellow. File your nails and buff them for a nice shiny appearance and healthy happy nails.
The thing is to not paint them constantly. If you want to paint your nails, do it once in a while. Take off for one week and put some on the week after as a cycle. And during the time you're not wearing polish, give yourself manicures so your nails wont have to endure the chemicals.
no.
it is not doing any damage...

if you drink it, then i guess it wont be that good:)
it can turn your nails yellow if you leave it on too long
Nail polish is not bad for healthy nails.
