My nails vary between white and translucent, but they're SUPER strong! If yours aren't strong, you may want to consider a strengthening nail polish. I suggest ProStrong, which they sell at http://www.qvc.comWhat is a healthy nail?
Nails should be strong yet flexible, smooth and shiny. The top should be white and the bottom bit a pinky peach skin colour.

They should not have any ridges, dents and should not have any areas of unusual color or shape.

Hope this helps..:)
The tips should be white and the rest a fleshy pink/peach, if you lack calcium you usually get white bits near the cuticle of the nail and if you lack iron you'll find your nails break/chip easily.
